First new post after redoing the layout and establishing the category system! I actually made the following diagram about a year ago while living in Greater Boston. It turns out of be a sort of prequel to my recent US states graphs. I wanted to depict the captivating system of streets and squares of the eastern half of Cambridge, MA (and a slice of Somerville), and this is the result. Topologically, there is three-way symmetry, more or less, centered on Inman Square, with Inman connected to six other squares and alternating ones of those directly connected to one another. This is sort of a magical thing to realize, if you're, I guess, an urban-topology enthusiast. Neighborhoods are indicated in the larger gray text.
