April 19: Tervasaari
The sun came back out and by now it was golden hour.
Looking out toward the eastern end of Skatta, toward the area of our apartment.
In the other direction: a view north to Hanasaari.
This must be landscape urbanism or something.
The banjo identifies this land as Tervasaari.
Scotties on guard.
Zoom of the zoo (Korkeasaari) across the water, the lookout tower toward the right.
A stand of fine, pensive birches.
This pigeon walked right near me and I got some zoomed-in snaps of it.
All the directions you need are right here.
A restaurant (etc?), not yet open for the season. The fence is similar to this one at the Estonian Open-Air Museum.
Filtered view of Hanasaari.
Jaakko: the kind of adorable boat with the kind of adorable name.
Another look down Aleksi, with an oncoming tram.
Uspenski: still looming.
Uspenski's foundations are quite impressive.
