July 27: Casa Amatller
Casa Battló and the adjacent building, Casa Amatller, are both part of the Illa de la Discòrdia ("Block of Discord"), a block comprising several important houses by prominent Modernista architects, so named because of the stylistic clashes between the buildings. Casa Amatller was designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch and completed in 1900.
