May 14: Nuuksio 1

Nuuksio National Park is a huge wilderness park within Espoo, established in 1994, surprisingly recently. James and Matt and I took a day trip there to get out into the woods for a bit.

We took a train and a bus to get there. This was a bridge along the way on the train.

The station where we transferred, I forget exactly where. We had to sprint to catch the bus.

It was a lovely fresh morning, with an alpine feel to the air.

At the info center, a collection of skulls. A skullection.

The info center is of Blockbau construction, and that just added to the alpine sensation.
