There was no question that I would stop by the Mirador again on the way down from the Castell.

A radiance of bottles.

Circles upon circles.

The waterfall-pool and the Torre Agbar way beyond.

Cool, it looks like both the bottoms and tops of bottles were embedded.

Then I wrote the first and only nature journal entry for the Barcelona session, the first one since Zernez. In the middle of the writing, I lay down on the bench and straight up took a nap. It was great.

Up at the summit, you can just see the masts of the Castell tower. What are these weird trees anyway? They look like giant asparagus with epidendritic tufts of moss. I'm lovin' it.

A blaze of bottles.

A promontory with a particularly choice view of the eastern port.

A stepped succession of glyphs.

These palm silhouettes are odd. Sort of... buckety.

"Hey girl!" "Give it a rest. I'm busy."

The figure in the foreground has a bit of a Holy Spirit vibe. Or a butterfly vibe.

Nature and civilization.
